...that seems to be a little "more" for a Z with that much damage, considering that you could probably find, depending on where you live, for a Z in great condidtion with the same miles, non-turbo, for a little over $12K. With the damage considered, a hood, bumper cover, light housing, and related items, you are probably looking at around $5K for the body work and parts (guestimated.) That would put up for the same price as a regular Z without the damage. Seems as though that the seller is just trying to throw you the "high price pitch". I was you in that situation, I would get the EXACT price for the damage from a local paint/body shop, and then walk up to the guy with $6K in cash in your pocket and tell him that that's what you giving him, take it or leave it. Good luck. Maybe it'll work. If you don't get that Z, get one somewhere down the road! You won't regret it!
